Hi Folks,

I own a 1991 Vanagon GL, white, custom version (all stock) with 48,000 miles
on it.

Recently, my Electronic Door lock on the drivers side ceased working.

Somehow, the passenger side door now controls locking all the other doors
(including the drivers door).

What I am trying to figure out, is:

1. is my drivers side door lock broken? (I cannot lock all other doors from
it electronically, but it *will* lock when done from the passenger side
door).

I'm not so sure the door is broken, since it will lock (just it's self,) and
will allow it's self to be locked with all other doors when locked form
passenger side door.

2. or, is there some special proprietary system, or combination to switch
which door, is the primary locking door.

I'm glad at least on door (the passenger side) still will lock all other
doors, but I am getting tired of walking over to universally lock and unlock
all the other doors...

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Think you can help?
