Read the preserved instructions in their original form. These explain the historical service, not a promise that every replacement email command is live.

• How to subscribe

  Original blank-subject email instructions, subscriber-only posting and manual administrator approval. Automatic approval after mailbox confirmation is a proposed modern policy, not historical behavior.

• Leave the list or pause delivery

  Permanent unsubscribe and temporary NOMAIL, MAIL and DIGEST instructions. The original page notes that missed mail remains available in the public archive.

• Command reference

  Includes subscription settings, acknowledgements, MIME, copies of your posts, QUERY, HELP, INFO refcard and THANKS. Full replacement coverage is not yet verified.

• Community etiquette

  Preserves the community guidance on chain letters, excessive quoting and sharing private email without permission. Historical security advice is not current security guidance.

• Searching by email

  Original LISTSERV search syntax, dates, sender/subject filters and retrieval instructions. The current web search is available; email search compatibility remains unfinished.

• Donation history

  A historical financial record, not a current donation request. Do not send funds to old addresses or infer that old balances describe the restoration today.

Original authorship and historical timestamps remain with each preserved page. Existing production email addresses are not repointed by this guide.
