In US it's called a Group 41 battery -- everyone makes one but it's
specific to VW so there is not as much selection as the other Groups
(sizes).  The posts are recessed and there is a plastic cover over the
positive.  VW seems to like putting batteries under seats...I'm told it can
be a warming experience if your seat springs hit the battery post.
