My son was driving it last night and said it died while he was accelerating... twice. This morning I got about 1/2 mile from home and it just died, tach goes to zip and thats it! I restarted it with no problem and haven't had a problem since. Another thing possibly either related to this or to my newfound paranoia that my ride may be getting a little inconsistent.... ;> the Vanagon seems to be running fast, as in RPMs to my actual speed. At 60 mph the engine is spinning at 3600rpm and at 70 I am running at 4200. It seems the engine is working harder to the whole family. Does anyone have some things that I can look at or suggest a psych doc up here in the Seattle area? I'd appreciate any help! David Shoreline, WA ddustan@wolfenet.com
