Thanks guys! I read some other other responses and all ready have my answer!

So my question is... Once up and running, should you see this constant flux
or should the voltage level out somewhere? As per the engineers at Autometer
(makers of the gauage), they said it's constantly changing so the the
computer can adjust. In other words, I bought a 50$ light show that really
does no good.
