Just an observation to all who may be thinking about this item. In the
description it says that it is 3 3/4 inches in diameter. The two grilles
that I am familiar with ('85 round & '87 rectangular) both require an
emblem that measures about 4 7/8 inches in diameter. The South African
Vanagon grille does take (what looks like ) a smaller emblem though
(mine is still in the mail so I don't know the exact size). According to
James Cohen the SA emblem is the same size as a 90-92 "big bumper" Golf
or Jetta or a 92-93 Corrado.

It is a cool idea though for people who see their busses as 'time
machines'. Yes, I may bid on it if it doesn't get crazy. Then again,
they may start selling them (or making larger ones) in the future.

Peace,
arlen
