I just got a water-cooled vanagon about 3 weeks ago. Although the heat isn't great it gets warm. If you think your cold now borrow a friends air-cooled vanagon and drive it for a week (don't forget your ice scraper for the inside of the windows). After that your water-cooled will feal absolutely tropical.
