I just bought a new water pump for the sink in my 82 Westy.  Everything works
great but the pump, which is the type that is submersesd in the tank, floats
on the surface of the water.  Is this the norm or is it supposed to be
attached somewhere on the inside of the tank?  I have no reference as the
vehicle was missing it when I bought it.
