Melissa, Does it look like this: http://www.vanagon.com/info/accessories//inexpensive-awning/ in which case it is an ASI conversion out of Portland, OR, Or does it look like this: http://www.kahl.net/campers/vanagon.htm in which case it is from Country Homes. Both are certainly serviceable set ups. With your unknown "basket case" engine you might offer $500 for this one and buy a running used engine from a list vendor. Get all the ancillaries you can too, there is no telling what has been done by someone who obviously got in over his head here. Sell your basket case engine to a salvage yard for a few bucks. You could have a great camper for under $2000, including engine installation! -- Stuart MacMillan Manager, Case Program 800-909-8244 ext 208 Getting your share of the Net yet? http://www.cobaltgroup.com http://www.casedealer.com/demo http://www.caseihdealer.com/demo
