Thanks for your informed and well-reasoned response to my inquiry.  The
Vanagon is a PITA on many fronts; at least I can put aside my paranoia about
this one.

I wish I could take credit for that Vernon handle but, truthfully, it was the
result of a sloppy application of Spell Check in combination with bifocals.
I have to get those computer glasses.
