It isn't abnormal for your tranny to be stiff when it is cold. Simply ease up on your shifting, and let your tranny take its time between gears. If you haven't already switched to synthetic gear oil, you may want to do so. It has a broader viscosity band, and feels thinner in the cold. G. That was an interesting task in and about itself. Sure am glad that's done. Well Stella and I made it here in one piece, but I have noticed that she is shifting kinda hard in and out of 1st. The Trans was just rebuilt this past summer, and I'm not getting any other symptoms, so on the subject of gears and gear oil, is there something that I should be using in order to get smoother shifting. Have I mentioned that's it's darn cold up here? BURRRR!!!! If this is a repeat message or it's something that has been discussed before, I am sorry, but I have 2562 e-mails to get through. Have pity on me, Please! Peace, Love, and Granola Kate
