I own a type2 that now has a really bad compression leak around the heads. I'm trying to decide whether to fix it or to unload it and get another van (maybe a vanagon). Here are my questions: How reliable is the Vanagon (late '80's - early 90's models)? Can I retrofit a wasserboxer into my type 2? Would it be worth it? Does the water-cooled Vanagon engine have more power than my 2.0L type IV? Could I maintain the speed limit going uphill in a camper? Thanks in advance for your advice. j For free Rainbow Tribe email visit http://rainbowtribe.pyar.com ___________________________________________________________ Get your own Web-Based E-mail Service at http://www.zzn.com
