I have an 82 diesel 1.9L westy with 3500miles on the new engine. I added a
VDO oil temp gauge with the new motor and was surprised to see hwy temps over
250F @40F ambient. Some of the older archives indicate this may not be that
unusual. I plan on adding a 23pass cooler anyway but don't want to plumb it
to the radiator.Any comments or suggestions appreciated
