I have been getting some rather strange calls lately.  About once every two
weeks someone calls needing a new throttle body for their van.  1.9l and
2.1l.  They say their old one is worn out and is causing problems.  Is this a
normal thing?  Have our vans just passed into this stage of deterioration?
What would cause a throttle body to go bad (dirt coming past the filter?)?

Anyone have any spare Vanagon Throttle Bodies sitting around they want to
sell?
