It seems clear that because of the characteristics of the Digifant
ignition control, a hand-held tachometer doesn't work. However the
Bentley shows a connection modification for AFC electronic ignition that
allows a hand-held tach to read accurately. Does anyone know how to
connect a hand-held tach to the Digifant coil ? See the note on the
bottom of 24.10 and the diagram on the top pf page 24.11.
