A couple years ago while at a VW dealer I noticed a product called "Forever
Black" for refinishing exterior trim. I've used this product to refinish
black trim on Audis and VWs that had turned grey and it absolutely worked
great. Not a paint but more like a dye it's easily applied with a builtin
applicator. Don't know a supplier but it was offered by mBA marketing in CA.
