Just a data point: When I changed my Syncro's
transmition oil for the first time since a "new"
factory VW transmition was installed, I wanted the
right oil from Redline. After talking to one of their
reps, he stated that Redline MT-90 was the proper oil
for the transmition and I must say shifting quality
has improved, especially when the van is cold.  I
ordered directly from them and shipment was within a
week (then again, they are in California and so am I.)
