So in this case, to those who equate the "making" of money with success, they are very successful. To those who equate the "earning" of money with success, there would be some very big Karma attached and a huge debt to work off as unearned. So, will you vote for relativistic candidates who will improve your ability to "make" money, or will you vote for candidates who will work toward the goal of opportunity for everyone to "earn" a living. One suggests success for everyone, the other acknowledges that with oportunity for success comes the possability of failure, based upon the adequacy of efforts. It is the difference between perception of value and value in fact. One is subjective, the other is objective. Know the attitude and character of those you hire before you hire them. In all cases, a mechanic must fall in line with the philosophy of the dealership management, or he won't be working there very long. It is the character or lack thereof of the dealership owner that is most telling. Just as an honest mechanic cannot make it in a crooked shop, a crooked mechanic will not last in a straight operation, anomalies notwithstanding. T.P. Stephens aka Doktor Tim San Juan Island, WA
