Besides the Bentley procedure look at archive from April 9,1998 by Darrell
Boehler titled Pressure Bleeding the Radiator. He adapts a bicycle pump to
the procedure which looks promising and a lot easier. Haven't tried it yet
but I've got the pump ready.  You might feel more comfortable  in this
weather to pay somebody that knows what they're doing  if your in doubt.
