I have read in various postings about an optional 5th seat for the Vanagon Westfalia. I have an 87 Synchro Westy, and a new family member on the way, and want to add the middle seat.

Does anyone out there have a seat for sale? There used to be a used parts place that specialized in Westfalia stuff out on the east coast. Does anyone have any information on that?

Finally, does anyone know if the middle seat from a passenger Vanagon will fit within the narrow confines of the Westy, and how it would be modified so it could be easily removed. (And while we are at it, does anyone have one for sale?)

Thank you in Advance,

John Cooper, Eagle River, Alaska.
