Subject:OIL FILTERS?

I'm confused. Do Vanagons require a special brand of filter for optimum
performance? What is wrong with the lube guys filters? I just got my oil
changed at big O in Moab UT and well.........now somehow I have dents
along the side of my gas tank rails. Enough to mess up the gas gage!!!
grrrr
I'm assuming that the driver got all confused about sitting over the fron
wheels and somehow droped it off the hoist.
