I don't know about anyone else, but I think that clock on the vanagon
instrument panel is a waste of space. I want my instrument panel to
give me info about the condition of the bus; if I need to know the
time, I'll look at my watch (or the stereo display).
So, two questions:
1) Can I get a VDO (or similar) tach for the diesel? I realize the
diesel won't have a tach in the normal sense since there is no
ignition system, but some sort of RPM sensor. If so, where and how
much?
2) Get I get the above to fit in the space now occupied by the clock?
Maybe even with cut-outs for the fuel and temp gauges?
