Trying to fix my horn this morning my 82. Pulled the steering wheel and found
a plastic part with a brass ring #321 419 661A disintegrating. Fine, I can
get this part new $18 or probably used. But the other problem is with its
corresponding contact on the light stalk/wiper assembly #251 953 503A which
is also worn out. This contact is removable from the assembly but the dealer
doesn't show it separately and they want $80 for the assembly new. Do I just
go to the wrecking yard for used or is there another way?
