I believe it is not German, but Former Yugoslavian, now I don't know
which one, but definitely in there somewhere.  I think it is Plum
schnaps, and definitely good for antifreeze, stove fuel, defrosting
windows, etc.  It is hot stuff, burns when it goes down!  BTDT
