You never know where you're at until you mike them or take them to a shop.
The "min" wear is marked on the back. IMHO I wouldn't worry about them if
they machine out in spec and equally. Brake pads now are another question.
I've heard of using stock VW, Pagid,and Repco Metalmaster. I would check out
Ferodo. German Parts and Restoration out your way in San Luis Obispo has the
best price on them and probably has a good price on rotors too. (my $.02)
