I just started building a model of an 80-83.5 Westy from Revell. Bought it
on eBay for $15.  I assumed when I saw it on eBay, that it was pretty old,
but when I looked at the instructions, I found they are copyrighted 1997!

Are these things still sold new?  Anyone ever seen a model of a late-model
Westy?

I am also planning to try to modify the suspension to make it look like a
Syncro.. Amazing what we'll do when it is too rainy to work on our Vanagons,
eh?  :-)   Maybe I'll use Euro-spec clear turn signals...
