You have some kind of electrical problem as you already know.  The thing to
do is inspect all of the ground wires, spark plug wires, distributor cap, etc
and see if any of these have a poor connection or a bare spot.  Could be a
cracked cap or bad plug wires, etc.  Hope this helps.
