Well, I've never been down there :-((, but AFAIK, they never got the Vanagon
down there. They still build the baywindow, and have started production of the
Eurovan at least in Argentina, maybe Brazil too. So, they are just skipping it,
and I guess that could lead to trouble if you need parts. Why don't you leave
the Vanagon in the US and by a new, old bus when you're down there, and bring it
back when you return??
