J & R caters to a special market - they sell Vanagons that have been totally gone through, prepped, and tightened. In theory, the buyer is willing to pay a premium because of their reputation for selling very nice, well maintained vans. I have seen several list members over the years buy Westies from them and all reported nothing but good news.
