The recent thread about SOB travel reminded me of a great book that I HIGHLY
recommend to anyone who travels to Mexico or Baja, California.  Get a copy
of Carl Franz's book "The People's Guide To Mexico"  It was out of print for
a long time, but is back in print as of 1998.

The only book on Mexico that really captures the flavor of the culture, and
tells it "like it is" IMHO.

Filled with many entertaining travel stories, many of which involve their
travels in a T2 Westy.  :-)
