As I have posted before, I am currently restoring an '83 air-cooled Westy. I
will be leaving in this vehicle the last week of march and basically, living
out of it for the better part of the year. My question to the list is as
follows. Do I name the Vanagon before I leave or wait until I can get a clear
piocture of it's personality. Is it bad luck (as with a boat) to travel in an
un-named VW? Following all the work I have done, I have a few ideas for names
(mostly expletives), but in fairness to the Westy I would like to give it a
more fitting name. Thanks in advance for all responses to this very trying
matter.
