I've had real good luck with a methyl methacrolate glue(2 part syringe set up) from Devcon that Wal Mart sold for a while, discontinued, and is now back on the shelves. Like $2.27 for 25 ml. 3000# breaking strength. Good luck. It sets up pretty quick so don't screw around. Has 90% of it's bonding strength in 30 minutes and you can accelerate the cure with judicious use of a heat gun. 5 minute epoxy, among it's other weaknesses, is not water proof.
