I ran into a guy at a tire shop here in Long
Beach that had coverted a 914 from the 4 bolt
pattern to the 914-6/911 wheels by having a
machine shop weld up and redrill the rotors. He
claimed that it wasn't all that expensive or
uncommon. YMMV
