Hi, my name is Geoff Straw and I live in Logan, Utah with my wife Nancy and 3-yr old daughter Cassidy. We just bought a 1982 diesel Westy, though we also own a 1996 TDI Passat and a modified 1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE (SCCA CSP autocrosser). The Westy is my ninth VW over the past 18 years of driving.

We plan on switching out the diesel 1.6 for either a 1.9 TD or a 1.8 or 2.0 gas engine. I've been reading the archives for about a year now, and this seems like a great bunch of folks.
