Just diagnosed another '87 with a sticking throttle switch within about 30 seconds of hooking it up. Julie Olson complained of intermittent poor idling when cold and we were wondering whether it was the temp II or the throttle switch. It was the latter, but only intermittently. Probably crud in there, but now she/Dale know what too look for. Just get a Digitool. -Karl PS: trip report to New England including Boston Engine to follow Karl and Kristina Bloss, Trexlertown, PA '87 Westfalia Weekender "Beverley" - 194K miles http://www.enter.net/~bloss/vw/ PA/NJ Vanagon owner's mailing list: http://www.enter.net/~bloss/vw/pavanagon/
