Had to make a key for mine too, but my locksmith charged me $20 w/the extra key. THEN the next day while looking through the archives I came upon a post giving the key code ( if you have that it's cheap). Darned if I can find it now though. Ken Hunter 82 Westy 1.9D 84 Jetta 1.6D 89 Mitsubishi van
