With all the chatter about squeeking, I thought I ought to inquire about clunking. Our 1990 Westy generates a clunking sound when we drive over rough roads. The sound is very audible from the drivers seat, slightly audible from the passenger seat and can not be heard at all from the back bench seat. The sound is most severe when only a driver is in the car, having somebody sitting in the passenger seat seems to lessen the severity of the sound. For this reason I think it is orginating from the front passenger side suspension. We have had our mechanic, Rocky Jennings Enterprises of Walla Walla, WA, look at this problem. He has checked all the nuts and bolts, the shock bushings and bolts and has not discovered the source of the problem. Now I'm turning to the vast experience that is available through this list. Can you help me? Thanks in advance, Tom Moritz *********************************** * * * From the computer of: * * Tom Moritz * * * ***********************************
