Todd:

If I'm not mistaken, both Ken at Vanagain (www.vanagain.com) and Ron at Bus
Depot (www.busdepot) sell replacement bumpers, both OEM and aftermarket.
Ken has the Projektzwo bumpers, but they are EXPENSIVE.

At Bus Depot, they are $90:

Another alternative is a big beefy tubular bumper like the one David sells

Subject: 1990 bumper

I'm trying to determine how difficult it is going to be to locate a bumper
for the 1990 Vanagon I may buy. I called our import junkyard, he said he
didn't have any 1987-1991 bumpers, didn't see any on his locater computer,
but if he did have one it would run $250 -$300.

Is this the sort of thing that is going to be difficult to find? And no, I
don't really want to bolt a treated 2x6 onto my $7,000 purchase.

Thanks.
