Dear Woody, You could convert your stcok single horn to VW's optional dual horn (this setup uses a relay). This was not generally available in the US, but apparently more so in Canada. I just purchased a Canadian Syncro Doublecab and it came with the dual horns -- very loud and unmistakably Volkswagen. On the other hand, you could go "hog wild" and do what I did for my Syncro Westfalia: http://www.hsdesign.com/vanagon Cheers, MJS At 10:23 PM 3/14/00 -0500, Woody Halsey wrote: >Dear List, > >How can I get a horn that sounds loud and authoritative (not the pathetic >bleat of the original) but is still unmistakably VW? > >Thanks. >Woody Michael J.
