Hey Tim

Sounds like a toasted clutch master cylinder..........I'm guessing that
your clutch pedal is pretty floppy. Essentially your
clutch is engaged and won't disengage.
http://www.type2.com/bartnik/clutchmaster.htm has instructions on changing
the clutch master cylinder.
They're about $50 form the list vendors.
