Andrew,
Does the door shut all the way?  My door was doing this but it was after the
back lock mechnism failed and the rear of the door would pop open.  I
recently fixed it by replacing the cenrtral locking mechanism (thanks to the
help of some folks on this list).  Soved the problem perfectly
