I have heard from many folks that putting a fuel filter BEFORE the fuel pump (and after) will catch the crap from the tank and protect the expensive high pressure fuel pump. After changing the fuel filter (before the pump) a few times, most of the crud will (should) be gone, but leave a filter there. Running a wire through the tank outlet cleared the problem right up. > I know I should have checked it already but I never said I was smart. Now I need > to replace the tank or seal it. What do you suggest?
