RE: Searching the archivesHi Brent, to what address do I email the request to? Send e-mail to the listserv address. Example: SEARCH VANAGON variable1 AND variable2 I think you can get pretty creative with Boolean statements, too. You will receive a message back from Gerry with a listing of all the messages that match. You then send back a message to Gerry like this: GETPOST VANAGON item1 item2 item3 item4 the "items" above will be numbers that reference the different posts works every time for me. The only time I use the html search engine is when I am searching for a specific date range or a specific author (like looking up someone's e-mail address) Cheers, Brent Christensen '89 GL Syncro Westy Santa Barbara, CA -----Original Message----- From: Steve Delasalle [mailto:sdelasal@YAHOO.COM] Sent: Tuesday, March 14, 2000 8:08 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Searching the archives I've tried a number of times to search the archives - every time it bombs out on me after 3-4 minutes ...Is it something I'm doing or is this a known problem - is there anyone is particular that I should contact?
