One thing I will do is get a product called "Water Wetter" from Red Line. it is suppose to break the surface tensions of the coolant and make better surface contact with the metal. check it out at: http://www.redlineoil.com/watrwet.htm Also grease needle the CV joints New fuel lines New Redline tranny oil Malcolm M= wrote: > I may be moving from New York to Arizona soon. > This means I wont have to worry about snow anymore but I will have to > worry about 100-120 degree summers. > > Arr there any special considerations for maintaining a Vanagon in a hot > dry climate that I should be aware of? > > Also, if there are any list members in the Phoenix/Tempe/Tucson area I > would like to hear of their experiences, also advice about any repair > shops in the area.
