Subject:Re: Tips on running Speaker Wire to the Back speakers of a 86 Westy?

I went the other direction.

When I ran new wire, I went up the windshield pillar, ran the length of the
van above the "headliner" in front and thru the vent space above the slider
straight into the a/c cabinet where the speakers are. I should have run an
extra pair for eventual subwoofer, oh well. It really wasn't that
difficult. I found it easier to go down from the roof into the pillar than
up from under the dash, but both ways work. I've got extra speakers running
up the passenger side, cb radio antenna running up drivers side. It's been
some years since I did this, so details are fuzzy, but it only took a
couple hours do to the whole run from radio to rear speakers.
