I have a chance to get a set of Mercedes SL,  8 spoke 16" rims/wheels for
my 1987 SYNCRO.
The wheels are quite far away and I have not seen them. It would be a
great help before I venture on this journey if anyone could tell me:

1. What the width might be?

2. What the  offset might be?

3. Do I have to open up the center hole?

4. Would I have to put in longer studs front and rear?

5. Spacers?

6.  Any other advice.  I'm a good listener and I need to do something
soon.

Remember, I have a syncro.  They are mounted with Michelin   225/60R16
tires.  Any help would be most gratelully appreciated!
