i guess i should have been more specific on my last thread of needing "fire
rings". what i need are the metal sealing rings that come with the head
gasket kits. they are the ones that seal the cylinder sleeves and the head
thus sealing the combustion chamber (as i understand it).  the ones for my
left side head got crushed (don't ask how) so i am in desperate need of two
of these rings.  where can i get my hands on them without buying a new
gasket kit?
