Fellow Vanagonites,
I discovered a place today, that may help out a few of you with CV
joints on he way out.
They rebuild axles, with new
joints and boots for $95.00 per side--exchange.
The best part is is that it's a block from my shop, and I didn't even
know it! A buddy of mine told me about the place, and I went to
investigate.
I asked what kind of joints they were using,Korean? And their reply was
absolutely not, and there is a lifetime guarantee that goes with them!
Well guess what, I've been needing CV's since last Nov., this weekend
they all get changed.
And then I was at my local VW dealer later in the day and asked them
about CV's. I know the parts Mgr. and he told me about this very place!
They send their shafts there to get rebuilt, and tack on the VW profit!
