Three days later, when the van was returned, the carpets were still soaked. I was taking a trip with my 2 dogs that day, so I covered the rugs with dropcloths to keep them from the antifreeze. To make a long story short, the engine went kaputt within 43 miles of getting the van back. It's been sitting ever since (2/23), in fact, Ken Wilford has it now, and I never did get a chance to take up the dropcloths. I can just imagine how it must smell by now.... -Lauren
