for a flashlight holder, try a headlamp. I have had one for about 15 years
and use it reguaraly.  They are readidly obtained at REI or your favorite
outdoor s store. Stick with the Petzl Zoom with the weird battery.  These
lamps are the standard for mountaineers and climbers.
